    And what a view! So I take it you're not recommending people build then? We've been dreaming about it and looking for sections for a while. If you need a good builder I can give you the name of mine.

    Man, I just read the rest of your blog. What a nightmare. you should call Fair Go - you never know! Or one of those DIY Rescue programmes.

    Thank you Martha but we'll never build again! The good news is we found a great old place with a similar view which just needs some love and attention. There is an empty section next to ours - bit on the steep side but the view is glorious....just make sure your builder knows how to hold a hammer and has all his fingers.
